What We Believe

The Trinity

• We believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

• We believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Author and Creator of all things.

• We believe that Jesus Christ was and is the Son of God, Co-Equal in wisdom and power and holiness with the Father. And that through His Atonement the world is Saved from sin and reconciled to God.

• We believe in the personality of The Holy Ghost (Spirit). That He proceedeth from the Father and the Son, and that He is executive of the Trinity, through which the plan of Salvation is carried on in the earth.

THE FALLEN NATURE OF MAN

• We believe that man by nature is sinful and unholy. Being born in sin, he needs to be born again, Sanctified and Cleansed from all sins, by the blood of Jesus.

• We believe that man is saved by confessing and forsaking his sins, and believing on the Lord Jesus Christ and that having become a child of God, by being born again and adopted into the family of God, he may, and should claim the inheritance of the Son of God, namely the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

• We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the sign and seal of speaking in Tongues, as recorded in Acts 4, 10:46; and 10:6. (We do not believe that we are baptized with the Spirit in order to be saved and become the Sons of God, but that we are baptized with the Holy Ghost because we are saved by being born of the Spirit, not being baptized with the Spirit.)

• While we do not presume to teach that no one has the Spirit that does not speak in Tongues, or that one is not saved that does not speak in tongues yet we believe that a full baptism of the Holy Ghost as poured out on the day of Pentecost is accompanied by the same effects and results upon every Child of God that receives it the same as the new birth has the same effects and results on everyone that is born of the Spirit, and we do not consider on Pentecost who teaches contrary to this doctrine.

WATER BAPTISM

• We believe that the instructions given us by the Savior, as recorded in Matt. 28:19, 20 are sufficient for our guide and rule as to the formula of water baptism, namely in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost

Second Coming

• We believe in the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and He will reign on the earth in the Millennial power and Glory, and the rapture of the bride of Christ, when she shall be caught up to meet her bridegroom in the air. We admonish all who have their hope in them to purify themselves as He is pure.

The Sabbath

• We recognize the first day of the week as the Christian Sabbath.
